Our services
We provide on-site, in-home and remote repair, maintenance and support for computers, laptops and related devices across Calgary and the nearby cities we travel to. Every job starts with a free look, and we tell you what we find before any work begins. We will always be straight with you: if a repair is not worth doing, we say so rather than sell you one that is not.
Results can vary with the age and condition of a device and the nature of the problem, so we describe what we expect to achieve before we start, not after.
Booking, cancellations and missed appointments
You can book through this website, by phone or by email. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice so we can offer the slot to someone else. Appointments missed without notice may be subject to a call-out fee, which we will always tell you about in advance.
SMS Messaging Terms
The CompuTech SMS program may send a thank-you after your visit, other post-sale follow-ups, review requests, and customer-care replies. We normally collect consent verbally at the time of an in-person sale. Messaging consent applies only to CompuTech, not to unrelated third parties.
Message frequency varies; typically one follow-up may be sent for each completed sale. Message and data rates may apply. Your consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Opt-out requests may take a short operational period to process, but no promotional or automated messages will be sent after suppression is active.
Reply HELP for assistance, email info@computechfix.ca, or call 403-333-3114. Carriers and delivery networks may delay or fail to deliver messages.
See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, protect, retain, and delete mobile information and SMS consent records.
Quotes and payment
We do not publish set prices. Every job is looked at first and then quoted as a flat rate you approve before any work starts. The price we quote is the price you pay.
- Payment for on-site and in-shop work is due once the repair is complete, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Remote support is paid in advance of the session.
- If we cannot fix the problem, you do not pay for the attempted repair (our no fix, no fee promise).
Your data and backups
We are not responsible for data loss during a repair. Repairs can carry a small risk to the information on a device, so please back up anything important before your appointment. Where a job involves the risk of data loss, we will flag it before we start and, where you ask us to, help you back up first.
Limitation of liability
We take care with every device we handle, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income, lost data or downtime, arising from a device fault or a delay in service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under Alberta law.
